Camden and City Churches Cold Weather Shelter (C4WS)
Supper at C4WS |
The United Reformed Church, Camden and Metropolitan Community Church of North London annually host up to 13 homeless guests on Monday nights as part of the Camden and City Churches Cold Weather Shelter (C4WS). |
C4WS is a Church run night shelter which aims to re-house guests within 28 days. It is comprised of 7 participating Churches which each cover a different night of the week, once a week, from January 1 to March 30. |
|
Community at Trinity will provide funding, equipment and volunteers for the scheme. There are two paid workers for C4WS. The scheme is otherwise staffed by volunteers from participating Churches. |
|
| In the 2006 scheme, the majority of guests were successfully settled in accommodation. | |
