Worship in Life and Lip
The Bible uses several different Greek words for worship; two keys words are- proskuneseo and latreuo.
In a basic sense, the first word means to bow down to kiss, and reminds us of adorative worship. This is what you see when we join together in church and sing songs, pray, and offer up our adoration to ALmighty God in all the various ways that make us who we are.
But the second word is a little deeper! This is what is translated as "your spiritual act of service" in Romans chapter 1. This is the sacred service we give to God through the working of our lives.
MCCNL encourages everyone to explore and enjoy discovering new facets to both of these aspects of our life with God and each other.
